Tradeify changed the per-payout caps on both of its Select funded accounts, effective September 1, 2026. The official help center article "Select Flex and Select Daily Payout Policies" now publishes two separate grids, split by the date the account was purchased. The two policies did not move in the same direction: Flex went down, Daily went up. Figures re-read at the source on September 2, 2026.
What changed, number by number
A payout cap is the maximum amount a funded account can withdraw in a single request. It says nothing about what you earn, it says how fast what you earn can leave the account. Here are both grids, in dollars.
| Select Flex | 25K | 50K | 100K | 150K |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Purchased before 09/01/2026 | 1,250 | 3,000 | 4,000 | 5,000 |
| Purchased from 09/01/2026 | 1,250 | 2,500 | 3,500 | 4,500 |
| Select Daily | 25K | 50K | 100K | 150K |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Purchased before 09/01/2026 | 600 | 1,000 | 1,500 | 2,500 |
| Purchased from 09/01/2026 | 600 | 1,250 | 1,750 | 2,500 |
Three sizes went down on Flex, two went up on Daily. The 25K did not move on either policy, and neither did the Daily 150K.
The real effect: the gap between the two policies narrows
Taken on their own, these amounts look like adjustments. Put side by side, they say something else. On a 50K account, the Flex cap used to be three times the Daily cap (3,000 against 1,000). It is now twice as large (2,500 against 1,250). On a 100K, the ratio drops from 2.67 to 2. On a 150K, from 2 to 1.8.
In other words, the historical argument for Flex, that you wait longer but pull out far more at once, loses some of its mechanical weight. Flex is still the path of larger, spaced-out withdrawals, and Daily is still the path of small, frequent ones. The distance between them just got shorter.
The switch follows the purchase date, not today's date
This is the point that matters most, and the one people read past. The grid that applies to your account is set by the date you BOUGHT the evaluation, not by the date you request a payout. An account bought in July keeps its old cap, even for a payout requested in December. An account bought today takes the new grid from its first withdrawal.
Practical consequence: two traders on the same product, the same size and the same policy can have different caps. That is not a platform bug, it is the intended mechanism. The official page illustrates it on a 50K Daily account: if the account is purchased before Sep 1st, 2026 the cap is $1,000, and if purchased after, the cap is $1,250.
The one point the official page does not settle
One area stays open, and it is worth knowing before you buy. The two grids are introduced as before Sep 1st, 2026 on one side and after September 1st, 2026 on the other. Those two phrasings leave September 1 itself outside both sentences. An account bought on exactly that day is named nowhere.
There is nothing to infer from that silence, and certainly nothing to guess: it is a question for the firm's support team, which alone can say which grid the account carries. More generally, a dated blog article never replaces the official page on this kind of subject, including this one. The caps above are those of September 2, 2026. Check the source before you buy.
What did not change
Nothing else moved on the Select accounts, value by value, at that same reading: maximum drawdowns, the Daily loss limit, buffers, winning-day thresholds, contract limits, the 90/10 split and evaluation prices are all identical. The 250 minimum payout is unchanged, and so is the rule shared by both policies: from the second payout onward, you need positive net profit on the current cycle to request anything at all.
The cap is also not the only gate. On Flex, the withdrawable amount is still 50% of the account's total profit, and the cap only applies after that. On Daily, a request is still limited to twice the profit earned since the last payout, and the buffer is still a floor your balance cannot cross. A higher cap is worth nothing if the formula upstream does not follow.
How to handle this kind of change
A cap change is not a market event and calls for no trading decision. It is a contract change, and it should be treated as one.
- Write down your account parameters on the day you buy. When a rule switches on the purchase date, the purchase date becomes a parameter of your account, just like its size. Six months later, nobody remembers it.
- Re-read the source before you buy, not after. Over the past twelve months, this firm's prices and rules have moved several times, sometimes in both directions within days. A table copied somewhere, including here, is a snapshot.
- Separate what depends on you from what does not. The cap is not negotiable. What stays inside your perimeter is the policy you pick when you get funded, and how you execute afterwards.
The choice between Flex and Daily is made once, when you come out of the evaluation, and it is permanent for that account. That is the decision this cap change actually moves, and it is taken before, not after. The full breakdown of both policies is in the dedicated Select Flex and Select Daily article, and the general framework of prop firm rules is in the guide to prop firm rules. How to operate inside that framework is described on the Ephore Prop System page.
Frequently asked questions
Is my account, bought before September 1, 2026, affected?
No. The grid follows the account's purchase date. An account bought before September 1, 2026 keeps its old caps, including for payouts requested much later.
Did all Select Flex caps go down?
No. The 25K stays at 1,250. The 50K goes from 3,000 to 2,500, the 100K from 4,000 to 3,500, and the 150K from 5,000 to 4,500.
Did Select Daily caps go up?
On two sizes only. The 50K goes from 1,000 to 1,250 and the 100K from 1,500 to 1,750. The 25K stays at 600 and the 150K at 2,500.
Does this change also affect drawdowns or prices?
No. At this reading on September 2, 2026, only the per-payout caps on Select accounts changed. Drawdowns, Daily loss limit, buffers, winning-day thresholds, contract limits, split and evaluation prices are unchanged.
Which grid applies if I buy on September 1 itself?
The official page does not say. It sets before Sep 1st against after September 1st, which leaves September 1 outside both phrasings. That is a question for the firm's support team, not something to infer.
