Prop Firm Rule Changes: The Dated Log

Observatory

Prop firm rules change without notice, and often without an announcement. A target that moves, a floor that gets recalculated, a reset fee that goes back up: those details decide whether an account survives. This page is the dated log of those changes, taken from the firms' own official pages. No affiliate links, no paid rankings.

September 2026

New
Apex Trader Funding

Apex: list price increase on six evaluations. EOD: 25K 450 -> 490 USD, 50K 550 -> 590, 100K 990 -> 1,190, 150K 1,890 -> 2,190. Intraday: 100K 399 -> 790, 150K 599 -> 1,190 (25K and 50K unchanged). SAVENOW promotion announced until 2026-09-27.

New
MyFundedFutures

MyFundedFutures, Builder 25K: the daily loss limit changes from "none" to 600 USD (soft pause, the account is not lost), in the evaluation and the funded account alike. The former no-DLL version becomes a Legacy plan.

New
MyFundedFutures

MyFundedFutures, Builder 100K and 150K: two new sizes added to the tool (282 and 398 USD one-time, drawdown 3,000 and 4,500, target 6,000 and 9,000, soft daily loss limit 1,750 and 2,500).

Take Profit Trader

Take Profit Trader: forbidden news on PRO and PRO+ is now limited to FOMC, NFP and CPI. Crude oil inventories (oil) and 10 and 30-year bond auctions were removed from the official list on 2026-09-22.

Take Profit Trader

Take Profit Trader: the published formula for the Test target recomputed by the 50% consistency changes from "twice the net P&L" to "more than twice the best day" (official 50K example: best day of 2,000 USD, more than 4,000 USD to reach).

Tradeify

Tradeify: the Growth FUNDED account joins the tool, four sizes from 25K to 150K. It carries a 35% consistency rule the Growth evaluation does not have, a soft-breach daily loss limit from 600 to 3,750 USD raised to the drawdown level at 6% profit, and withdrawal caps that rise payout after payout (the 25K stays at 1,000 USD). Coverage now 158 accounts.

MyFundedFutures

MyFundedFutures, promotion: the CLUB code no longer halves the price, it takes 40% off. The official banner reads "Save 40% On Any Plan With Code CLUB." and the nine displayed accounts are exactly list price minus 40% (Rapid 25K 87 instead of 73, Pro 150K 334 instead of 279). LIST prices, the only ones this tool publishes, do not change.

MyFundedFutures

MyFundedFutures, Rapid and Rapid EOD plans: the firm states in writing that there is NO reset (« There is no reset - the max drawdown is a hard line »). The six accounts concerned move from « Verification in progress » to « no reset »; a lost account is repurchased in full. Purchase prices are unchanged.

Lucid, LucidPro 25K funded account: the optional daily loss limit is 600 USD, an amount published in the official funded account table. The tool showed no daily loss limit on this single size, while the other three already carried 1,200, 1,800 and 2,700 USD.

LucidFlex evaluation reset price: the tool now publishes the LIST price read in the official pricing configuration of the product page, 55 / 95 / 180 / 260 USD from 25K to 150K, instead of the price shown with the current discount applied, 50 / 90 / 170 / 250. Lucid did not change its prices and the grid still shows the latter; LucidPro resets were already on the list price, both programmes now follow the same rule.

Topstep

Topstep loosens the Trading Combine consistency rule: the best trading day may now reach 55% of the profit target, up from 50%. The firm says it removed the hidden buffer that was quietly added to the old threshold: "There is no buffer. 55% is the hard limit. The old buffer was quiet padding on top of a 50% target." The published per-size guides become 1,650 on the 50K, 3,300 on the 100K and 4,950 on the 150K. The 40% consistency of the funded account's Consistency path is unchanged, and no price moves.

Apex Trader Funding

Apex extends its SAVENOW promotion: the announced end date moves from 8 to 22 September 2026 at 23:59 Eastern time. The configuration published in the official home page reads "expiration: 2026-09-22 23:59" and "active: true". The discount stays at 90% off the evaluation price, and it applies neither to resets nor to activation fees. No catalogue price changes.

Take Profit Trader

Take Profit Trader is running a NOFEE40 promotion: 40% off the subscription for the whole life of the account and a permanent waiver of the 130 USD funded account activation fee, with no limit on the number of accounts and no announced end date. The catalogue prices of the five sizes do not move.

MyFundedFutures

MyFundedFutures opens a Rapid EOD 25K size at 145 USD one-time: 1,500 USD target, 1,000 USD end-of-day maximum loss, no daily loss limit, 30% consistency in evaluation, 4 minimum trading days, 2 minis. The funded account starts at 0, 1,100 USD buffer, uncapped daily payouts at 90/10.

Tradeify

Tradeify, Select 25K funded accounts (Flex and Daily): the firm publishes a scaling trigger at 1,500 USD closing equity that raises the limit from 1 mini (10 micros) to 2 minis (20 micros). The tool announced 1 mini for the life of the account.

Tradeify

Tradeify, Select 25K evaluation: the reset price published by the firm is 75 USD. The tool showed 60 USD, which is the reset price of the Growth 25K evaluation.

Earn2Trade

Earn2Trade launches a "Labor Day" promotion: 50% off and a free reset on every evaluation with code 50PLUSRESET, with no end date announced. The catalogue prices of the seven evaluations are unchanged.

Tradeify

Tradeify changes the payout caps of Select funded accounts for any account bought from 1 September 2026 onward. Select Flex GOES DOWN on three sizes: 3,000 to 2,500 USD on 50K, 4,000 to 3,500 on 100K, 5,000 to 4,500 on 150K, the 25K staying at 1,250. Select Daily GOES UP on two sizes: 1,000 to 1,250 USD on 50K and 1,500 to 1,750 on 100K, the 25K and 150K staying at 600 and 2,500. Accounts bought before that date keep their old grid.

August 2026

Lucid, LucidFlex evaluations: the reset fee goes back from 65 to 50 USD on the 25K, 105 to 90 on the 50K, 215 to 170 on the 100K and 295 to 250 on the 150K. This is not a move by the firm but a correction of our own reading: both amounts coexist on the official grid and depend on the daily loss limit toggle. The tool prices the configuration WITH a daily loss limit, whose reset is the lower one.

Lucid, LucidFlex evaluations: the discount on reset fees has ended again. The four resets go from 50 / 90 / 170 / 250 USD to 65 / 105 / 215 / 295 USD, from 25K to 150K. Same move as on 16/08/2026, whose discount had returned on 24/08. Evaluation purchase prices do not move (79 / 136 / 258 / 372 USD list, 89 / 146 / 293 / 407 without a daily loss limit), and LucidPro, LucidDaily and LucidDirect are unchanged.

Every account now shows its PRICE: purchase cost, reset price, activation fee and total path cost, in the selector as well as in the comparison table. All 152 accounts are covered.

Apex Trader Funding

Apex: the 16 accounts had no price at all, now they do. The evaluation is a ONE-TIME 30-day payment (Intraday 167 / 249 / 399 / 599 USD, End of Day 450 / 550 / 990 / 1,890 USD), there is NO reset any more, and funded account activation costs 59 USD on Intraday, 119 / 139 / 149 / 159 USD on End of Day.

FTMO

FTMO: prices were shown in dollars but are billed in EUROS (terms 3.7: "The FTMO Challenge Fee is stated in EUR"). Fixed on all 25 accounts; account sizes themselves remain denominated in dollars.

FTMO

FTMO, open question settled: the 100,000 tier of the 2-Step does cost 540 EUR at list price. The 439 EUR seen elsewhere is a running promotion with no published end date.

Earn2Trade

Earn2Trade: the free reset at every monthly rebill applies to ALL THREE Trader Career Path sizes, not only the 100K as the tool used to state.

Lucid, CORRECTION of our own prices: the price shown for LucidPro and LucidFlex was the one of the version WITHOUT a daily loss limit, paid option included, and the reset price the one of the version WITH a DLL, discount deducted. List prices restored: LucidPro 108 / 172 / 272 / 365 USD (instead of 123 / 192 / 307 / 410), LucidFlex 79 / 136 / 258 / 372 USD (instead of 89 / 146 / 293 / 407). Resets and the LucidDaily grid are fixed the same way. No firm price moved, our reading was wrong.

TIME LIMITS enter the tool, at a member's request: each evaluation's time limit (or its absence), minimum days to trade, deadline to start. Shown on every sheet, in the comparison table, and used as a filter in the account picker. All 41 paths across the 8 firms are covered.

Earn2TradeTake Profit TraderTopstep

A nuance published with this criterion: "no time limit" and "no time limit as long as the subscription is paid" are not the same promise. Topstep, Take Profit Trader and Earn2Trade sell their evaluations as subscriptions: the tool now spells it out.

Apex Trader Funding

Apex: the evaluation lasts 30 calendar days from the PURCHASE DATE, weekends included, and expires automatically at 6:00 PM New York time on day 30, with no extension. The hardest deadline of the eight firms, now shown plainly.

MyFundedFutures

MyFundedFutures drops monthly subscriptions: every plan is now a one-time purchase with no renewals, where the tool described a cancellable monthly subscription.

MyFundedFutures

MyFundedFutures, Rapid plan: the reference price becomes 145, 209, 356 and 463 USD as a one-time payment from 25K to 150K, against 109, 157, 267 and 347 USD per month before. Rapid EOD 50K goes from 157 to 209 USD.

MyFundedFutures

MyFundedFutures, Pro plan: the reference price becomes 265, 401 and 557 USD as a one-time payment from 50K to 150K, against 227, 344 and 477 USD per month before.

MyFundedFutures

MyFundedFutures, Pro evaluation contracts: 3 minis or 30 micros on 50K, 6 or 60 on 100K, 9 or 90 on 150K, where the tool showed "Verification in progress". The FUNDED account stays under reservation, its only official source publishing inconsistent micro figures.

Tradeify

Tradeify, Select 25K funded accounts (Flex and Daily): maximum size corrected from “2 minis after scaling” to 1 mini or 10 micros. The official scaling plan has no tier for the 25K, which stays at 1 mini for the life of the account.

MyFundedFutures

MyFundedFutures, Builder 25K: price now published by the firm, 105 USD per month, where the tool showed “Verification in progress”.

MyFundedFutures

MyFundedFutures, Rapid EOD 50K: price now published, 157 USD as a one-time payment (not a subscription), where the tool showed “Verification in progress”.

Lucid: the daily loss limit is an option chosen at purchase (On or Off) on LucidPro, LucidFlex and LucidDaily, for both the evaluation and the funded account. The amounts published here are those of the enabled option.

Take Profit Trader

Take Profit Trader shortens its evaluation: the minimum number of trading days goes from 5 to 3. The firm presents this as a program change, not a promotion. It applies to test accounts purchased from 17 August 2026 onward; earlier tests and the resets attached to them keep the 5-day minimum. No other test rule changes.

Take Profit Trader

Take Profit Trader automates the account-to-wallet step on Tradovate PRO accounts: 5 to 10 seconds instead of a manual review that could take up to 12 business hours. You must be flat, with no open positions or working orders, when the request is submitted. Rithmic PRO accounts, PRO+ accounts and archived Tradovate accounts stay manual. The wallet-to-bank step keeps its manual review within 12 business hours, and payout eligibility is unchanged.

Lucid cuts its reset prices through a limited-time discount. LucidPro goes from 90 / 140 / 225 / 300 USD to 70 / 115 / 180 / 245 USD from 25K to 150K. LucidFlex is back to 50 / 90 / 170 / 250 USD, its pre-16 August pricing, the discount that had ended that day having returned. Evaluation reference prices do not move (LucidPro 123 / 192 / 307 / 410, LucidFlex 89 / 146 / 293 / 407). LucidDaily and LucidDirect carry no such discount.

LucidFlex's limited-time discount has ended, and the reset price rises by the same amount. The resets of the four LucidFlex evaluations go from 50 / 90 / 170 / 250 USD to 65 / 105 / 215 / 295 USD, from 25K to 150K, that is 15 USD more on the two smaller sizes and 45 USD more on the two larger ones. The evaluations' reference price does not move (89 / 146 / 293 / 407 USD), and the price with the VAULT code alone goes from 50.30 / 90.20 / 170.60 / 250.40 to 65.30 / 105.20 / 215.60 / 295.40 USD: it is the extra discount that disappeared, not a price increase. No other Lucid value moves: LucidPro, LucidDaily and LucidDirect are unchanged.

Lucid publishes the prices of its LucidPro and LucidFlex evaluations again, and they are not the same as before. Since 2026-08-06 the official grid read "Get final price at checkout" and the tool could no longer price the path. The reference prices are now LucidPro 123 / 192 / 307 / 410 USD and LucidFlex 89 / 146 / 293 / 407 USD, from 25K to 150K, against 135 / 185 / 285 / 370 and 100 / 140 / 225 / 420 before they disappeared: both 25K accounts drop by about ten dollars, the 100K accounts rise markedly, the 100K Flex by 68 USD. Resets are published too, 90 / 140 / 225 / 300 on Pro and 50 / 90 / 170 / 250 on Flex. These are the prices before any promo code: the page also shows a VAULT code, and a limited-time discount on LucidFlex, which go markedly lower. We record the reference price, the most the trader will pay. No other Lucid value moves.

Earn2TradeMyFundedFutures

All eight firms are now re-read IN FULL every morning, instead of three a day with the other five on a weekly rotation. This first complete pass corrects one price and clarifies one trap. The price: the Add-On variant of MyFundedFutures' Builder 50K costs 125 USD, the tool showed 153, which is the default variant's price. It is the cheaper variant of the plan, precisely because its loss cushion is tighter (1,500 instead of 2,000): we were overstating its cost by 28 USD. The trap: at Earn2Trade the FIXED drawdown depends not on account size but on the PATH taken, the three ladders having been read one by one. A 200,000 reached through a TCP25 is fixed at 194,000; the same 200,000 reached through a TCP50 or a TCP100 is still trailing at 6,000, and it is its 400,000 that is fixed, at 388,000. The tool shows only one ladder: its static 200,000 holds for the TCP25 path only.

Earn2TradeMyFundedFutures

Three data corrections from a re-verification at the sources. The most serious: MyFundedFutures sells the Builder 50K with TWO maximum loss limit options, 2,000 or 1,500, and the file only had the first. A member who chose the Add-On variant saw a floor at 48,000 when theirs sits at 48,500: at 48,200 the tool called the account alive while it was already breached. The variant now exists in the tool. Then: the 200K and 400K funded accounts of Earn2Trade's Trader Career Path use a FIXED drawdown at 194,000 and 388,000, they were described as end-of-day trailing, which warned too early. Finally, the MyFundedFutures locking text announced the balances that TRIGGER the lock as if they were the locked floors: a member on a 50K read 52,100 instead of 50,100.

Earn2TradeMyFundedFuturesTake Profit Trader

Audit fixes on the firms added the same day, one of them DANGEROUS: the MyFundedFutures funded Pro account does not start at zero but at the full account amount, so its locked floor is 50,100 / 100,100 / 150,100 and not 100. Also: Take Profit Trader's PRO+ does start at zero, MyFundedFutures evaluations do lock their floor at +100 (documented at the source, contrary to our warning), the Rapid EOD 50K plan enters the tool, Earn2Trade's LiveSim caps are added and its resets are dynamic again.

Earn2TradeFTMOMyFundedFuturesTake Profit TraderTopstep

MAJOR EXTENSION: the tool goes from 3 to 8 firms and from 64 to 152 accounts. Topstep, Take Profit Trader, MyFundedFutures, Earn2Trade and FTMO join, the latter being the first CFD firm. Every value was read the same day on the firms' official pages. Three structural additions: the market (futures or CFD) is shown on each account, the STARTING balance is now distinct from the account size (Topstep and MyFundedFutures start at zero although the account is called 50K), and the STATIC drawdown mode arrives with FTMO, whose floor never moves. Worth noting: MyFundedFutures' Flex plan was discontinued on 5 August 2026 and is not listed.

Tradeify

Tradeify: the LIGHTNING FUNDED account enters the tool (4 sizes, instantly funded, no evaluation). End of Day drawdowns 1,000 / 2,000 / 4,000 / 5,250, daily loss limit none / 1,250 / 2,500 / 3,000 as a soft breach then raised to the drawdown level at 6% profit, contracts 1 / 4 / 8 / 12 minis from the start, prices 345 / 492 / 660 / 796 USD with no reset available, cycle goals 1,500 / 3,000 / 6,000 / 9,000 then 1,000 / 2,000 / 3,500 / 4,500, payout caps 1,000 / 2,000 / 2,500 / 3,000 then 1,000 / 2,500 / 3,000 / 3,500 from the 4th onward, minimum withdrawal 1,000 and progressive consistency 20% then 25% then 30%.

Tradeify

Tradeify: the Select 50K evaluation reset fee goes back from 95 to 109 USD, the amount that applied before 2026-08-06. The four purchase prices (109 / 165 / 265 / 369) and the three other reset fees (60 / 169 / 239) are unchanged, and so is the Growth pricing grid. Source: the official Tradeify Pricing Reference article, flagged as updated this week, read twice.

Apex Trader FundingTradeify

Lucid: the amounts of LucidFlex's optional daily loss limit are now PUBLISHED on the official grid, where they appeared nowhere the day before: 600 USD on 25K, 1,200 on 50K, 1,800 on 100K and 2,700 on 150K when the option is enabled at purchase (the same amounts as LucidPro). These values now appear in the tool, where LucidFlex previously showed an unknown DLL. No other Lucid, Apex or Tradeify value changed.

Tradeify

Tradeify: the Growth EVALUATION enters the tool (4 sizes). Targets 1,500 / 3,000 / 6,000 / 9,000, End of Day drawdowns 1,000 / 2,000 / 3,500 / 5,000, soft-breach daily loss limits 600 / 1,250 / 2,500 / 3,750, NO consistency rule (can be passed in one day), contracts 1 / 4 / 8 / 12 minis, prices 99 / 145 / 255 / 369 USD with resets 60 / 95 / 155 / 215 USD.

Tradeify

Tradeify: the Select 50K evaluation reset fee drops from 109 to 95 USD. The four purchase prices (109 / 165 / 265 / 369) and the three other reset fees (60 / 169 / 239) are unchanged. Source: the official Tradeify Pricing Reference article, flagged as updated today.

Lucid: LucidPro and LucidFlex become CONFIGURABLE plans. The daily loss limit is chosen at purchase (on or off) and applies to BOTH phases, evaluation and funded account, exactly like LucidDaily. Sources: the official LucidPro Customization and LucidFlex Customization articles, plus the ON/OFF buttons on all eight cards of the official configurator.

Lucid: LucidPro and LucidFlex prices are NO LONGER shown on the official grid. All eight cards read "Get final price at checkout", whatever option is selected. The prices the tool published (Pro 135 / 185 / 285 / 370, Flex 100 / 140 / 225 / 420) can no longer be verified at the source and are removed from the displayed path cost.

Lucid: LucidDirect prices go down, read from the official configurator (one-time payment, before any promo code): 25K 340 → 329, 50K 520 → 515, 150K 840 → 836. The 100K stays at 700.

Lucid: the LucidDaily price grid is restructured. The displayed price now depends only on the drawdown chosen for the evaluation (Intraday 115 / 156 / 264 / 367, End of Day 137 / 185 / 314 / 436), the former "DLL on" discount becoming a limited-time promotion (20 / 25 / 45 / 55 to 60 USD by size). Reset fees still depend on both options and are unchanged.

Apex Trader Funding

TOOL CORRECTION (Apex's rule itself has not changed). Intraday evaluation: the trailing threshold DOES LOCK on Rithmic and WealthCharts evaluations once it reaches the Profit Target level (official 50K example: locked at 53,000, reached at 55,000); it never locks on Tradovate. The tool showed "no locking announced, assume the floor keeps rising as you rise", which had been wrong since the evaluations were added on 08/02/2026. Source: the official Intraday Trailing Drawdown Explained article.

Tradeify

Tradeify: the Select EVALUATION enters the tool (4 sizes). Targets 1,500 / 3,000 / 6,000 / 9,000, End of Day drawdowns 1,000 / 2,000 / 3,000 / 4,500, NO daily loss limit, a 40% consistency rule forcing a 3-trading-day minimum, contracts 1 / 4 / 8 / 12 minis, prices 109 / 165 / 265 / 369 USD with resets 60 / 109 / 169 / 239 USD, and no floor locking before the funded account.

LucidDaily: the official help center has finally published the path's articles (they were missing). The LucidDaily FUNDED account enters the tool: 4 sizes, always an intraday drawdown, buffer 1,100 / 2,100 / 3,100 / 4,600, daily payouts with no per-request cap, no consistency rule, red folder news trading forbidden on pain of a breached account. Two corrections on the LucidDaily evaluation: its floor DOES lock at Start + 100 (the tool showed "no locking"), and its optional daily loss limit is 600 / 1,200 / 1,800 / 2,700 when switched on at purchase (the tool showed "none").

Apex Trader Funding

Apex: both EVALUATIONS are now in the tool (EOD and Intraday, 4 sizes). Targets 1,500 / 3,000 / 6,000 / 9,000, drawdowns 1,000 / 2,000 / 3,000 / 4,000, fixed DLL 500 / 1,000 / 1,500 / 2,000 on EOD and NO DLL on Intraday, 30-day access, no consistency rule, 7 days to activate the funded account.

Tradeify

Tradeify Select Daily: floor locking confirmed at the official source (it moves to Start + 100 when the closing balance exceeds the drawdown by more than 100). The locking column goes from "undocumented" to the exact rule, trigger levels included.

How these changes are logged

  • Every value comes from the firm's own page or help center, never from a comparison site or a video.
  • A figure that cannot be verified at the source is not published.
  • Each entry carries the date it was checked. When a rule changes, the previous value stays on the record: that is what makes the movement visible.
  • Ephore Market has no affiliate relationship with these firms and earns no commission. That is the condition for this log to stay usable.
